Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner presents the “Simple Gifts” Genealogy Blog Hop

Fort Collins, CO—Couragent, Inc. has announced Simple Gifts, a “blog hop” that will run from November 4 to November 25, 2011 featuring genealogy bloggers using the Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner. Internationally recognized genealogy presenter, media host and blogger Thomas MacEntee will engage seven well-known genealogy bloggers who will post projects that use the Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner.

“Blog hops are a great way for bloggers to meet new bloggers and spread the word about their latest news and projects,” said Walt Grady, Couragent genealogy account manager. “The goal of the Simple Gifts genealogy blog hop is to enrich lives.”

The key aspects of the Simple Gifts blog hop are:
  • Demonstrating the simplicity of using the Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner and sharing digitized images with family and friends,
  • Writing about giving family history-related gifts and items to family members and their reaction to these items,
  • Creating elaborate and detailed gifts using photos and documents scanned with the Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner, and
  • Celebrating Thanksgiving and the holidays as a time to be grateful and share family memories using the Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner.
According to Thomas MacEntee “A blog hop is a perfect way to learn more about any topic including the Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner and its role in preserving family memories! Each of the participating bloggers has their own unique perspective as well as their own style. I look forward to each of them documenting their Simple Gifts experience and I’ll be covering their posts at GeneaBloggers (www.geneabloggers.com).”

“Anyone can submit creative ideas for using a Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner for a "Simple Gift" project” said Grady. “Get your creative juices flowing and submit your ideas to http://bit.ly/ugrGEK. People who send in their ideas will receive a coupon code good for 10% off a Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner or Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner Creative Suite—with Craft Edition DVD.”
