NEHGS and Ancestry.com Collaborate for Family History Day
Tarrytown, NY – March 1, 2012 – The New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS) and Ancestry.com invite you to participate in New York Family History Day 2012, a day to discover and celebrate your family history. Join us for this exciting program on Saturday, March 17th from 9am to 4pm at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, New York.
Family History Day will include 12 classes to help you get started with your family history research or hone your research skills. Some of the classes we will be offering are Using AmericanAncestors.org, Using Ancestry.com, Online resources for Irish research, Uncovering your New York ancestors, Getting started in family history, and much more. You will also have an opportunity to register for a private one-on-one consultation with one of NEHGS’ expert staff.
