FREE Family History Conference and Society Meeting

Teaching staff from the Los Angeles Family History Library will provide classroom instruction on genealogical research at both the beginning and intermediate levels. Classes are FREE, with a syllabus covering all classes offered for $10.00. For list of classes, see schedule at http://sites.google.com/site/vfhlibrary/just-in/untitledpost. Please sign up for classes you plan to attend by phoning the Ventura Family History Center at 805-643-5607. Other classes from the course leading to a certificate will be presented in a series each Thursday at 7pm, Ventura Family History Center by Bonnie Petrovich.

As part of the conference you are invited to attend the monthly meeting of the Ventura County Genealogical Society, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The Main Speaker for the VCGS meeting will be Richard McBride, Director of the Los Angeles Family History Center. His topic will be "What Is New and What Is Coming on FamilySearch?"
