TOPIC: The Paper-Less Genealogist
Simple strategies break the paper habit, file less paper, and organize what you keep.
Spend less time searching for files, and more time searching for ancestors with strategies to help you tame the paper tiger and become master of your scanner and digital file system. This presentation will cover: choosing the best scanner for your needs, basic scanner settings for genealogists, file naming for easy retrieval, and baby steps to help you move toward managing less paper.
Ms. Levenick, a former English and Journalism instructor says she's passionate about "old stuff." In every family, someone ends up with “the stuff.” It is the goal of The Family Curator to inspire, enlighten, and encourage other family curators in their efforts to preserve and share their own family treasures.
