2014 promises to bring more engaging conversations, with a more diverse topic schedule.

Colorado, Oct 9, 2013: In 2013, the genealogical community enjoyed the addition of #genchat, a twice-monthly twitter chat. These hour-long sessions proved to be quite popular, and we are excited to announce additional chats for the last two months of 2013, and the topic schedule for 2014.

November will see the addition of our geography based topics. We have added two additional chats to the 2013 schedule, and these geography specific chats will continue throughout 2014.

  • November 13, 2013: 11am central, “researching at the county level.”
  • December 18, 2013: 11am central, “researching the southwest states.”

The 2014 geography chat dates and times will fluctuate, information on the specific topic will be available on Conference Keeper two weeks prior.

Additionally, the full 2014 schedule has been released on the Conference Keeper website. You will find topics for all planned 2014 #genchat sessions. You can look forward to such topics as DNA, utilizing NARA, the naturalization process and transcribing.
