New images of NYC vital record index available on Ancestry.com
Last week, Ancestry.com added a new searchable database containing crucial information on New York City births between 1910 and 1965. The images in the collection have been digitized from official New York City Department of Health print indexes and contain information on name, date of birth, borough of birth, and birth certificate number.
Our blog has the scoop, along with information about obtaining a birth certificate when you find the certificate number in this index.
