New additions are not the only update our Greater London Marriage Index has received this week. We’ve also merged a number of existing London marriage collections to make them accessible through one unified search. The Greater London Marriage Index will now also include results from the Middlesex Marriage Index, the West Middlesex Marriage Index, the St Andrew’s Holborn Marriage Index and our collection of Docklands and East End Marriages.

Next week’s update features a major new collection from the United States that could help uncover early immigrant ancestors.

New Search Feature

To help you uncover the history of your home, we have added address search to all of our England and Wales census search forms. Previously only available on the 1911 and 1901 census, you can now search all censuses from 1841 to 1911 by address. Findmypast is now the only family history website to offer address searching on all census returns, allowing you to trace previous occupants across 70 years of British history.
